Name: Chadwick Platt-Kuhn
Years of Movement: 4
Bio: For as long as I can remember I have always loved to move. My favorite class has always been recess, and my favorite relaxation has always been reading stories and watching movies about people who could do remarkable things. So naturally I’ve always tried to become these hero’s and athletes that I loved to see in my cartoons and comic books.
I official started parkour when I was thirteen and I saw on 3run’s “Urban Ninjas- Evolution” and it made me realize that athleticism of that caliber was possible. A short time later some friends and I started doing silly little jumps everywhere we could. Then our friend group grew and grew as we got better until we had made a very large family out of the modern Parkour community.
I’m a strong believer in the fact that nearly anything can be accomplished through hard work and dedication. I believe that with enough effort anybody can do what they want to do. Things are only impossible when people don’t try.
On my spare time and I’m not doing Parkour I like to Lift weights, cook, listen to music, explore nature and cities, and read (I really enjoy the Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind). I don’t really have a favorite move in Parkour because I really just love it all and want to get better at all of it. My life goal is to be the absolute best human being I can be and have fun while I’m doing it.
